It's not an WYSIWYG editor. It's more similar with notepad(essentially) or Visual Studio Code.

This is the only Open Source program which TRIES to be like Dreamweaver. It has very small amount of functions, but the core functionalities like live preview or split mode are present. Unfortunately add-on API is intentionally complicated to make user buy add-ons and not write own ones.

Very poor HTML helping macros, without any detection of simple common errors. No preview at all. The only good thing is that it is the only open source HTML editor in which code highlighting works, but Dreamweaver has some more features. Much more.

This alternative is disputed. WebStorm is still a legitimate alternative to Adobe Dreamweaver, but it might have issues that some users think are important.
Webstorm has only a code editor and real time preview, but no WYSIWYG editor like Adobe Dreamweaver. While typing you always need to deal with code specific syntax.
