There are lots of people like me who still want the perpetual licence, and I think Adobe can easily accomplish it.
You know, paying €2,177.55 in advance for all apps (Belgian price), with three years of upgrades and extras.
After three years, users can stay with the latest version, or pay €2,177.55 (or a lower upgrade-only price) for another three years of upgrades and extras.
Going cloud-only isn’t working: the guys at the CGPersia forum already defeated the copy protection system for the 2019 version. It is only the return of the perpetual licence that will make software crackers tremble.
If it wasn't obvious, while there might not be many alternatives to Adobe's entire suite as a single entity, there are many alternatives to each of the individual components within the suite, so search them up that way.
