Not entirely free. Yes, no charge, but you are forced to install Creative Cloud desktop app, at least on a Windows 10 system. I recently signed up for the subscription to it, but upon installing it, CC app costs you system resources 24/7. It never stops gobbling memory, processor cycles, and network bandwidth. It really is a not-so-subtle marketing tool, which I should have realized.
Think twice, and do your research about system resources.
Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber here. I find Adobe Bridge slow, always borderline not responding. Can't move or delete files by any method. Not really improving my workflow. Looking for alternatives here ;)
This is amazing -- a free prog that is better than Acdsee. Highly recommended!
