What is Louppe?

Louppe opens a folder or memory card as it is, with no library or import step. Go through photos and video clips with the keyboard, mark each one keep or reject, check focus at 100% zoom, then copy the keepers to another folder. Rejecting never deletes a file; moving rejects to the Trash is a separate step.

RAW and JPEG files from the same shot stay paired. You can filter by rating, date, camera details and Fujifilm film simulation, find exact duplicates, and write ratings to XMP sidecar files for other photo apps. Video clips play in the same review flow, and audio and text files from the card can be previewed too.

Louppe is free, with no account, ads or in-app purchases. It is MIT licensed and available on the Mac App Store and GitHub. It needs an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later.
