      PeaZip vs 7-Zip
      pros, cons and recent comments
ryangreen Basically 7-Zip but with a better user interface, and better integration with Windows. Unless you want more control than the standard Fastest-Ultra presets, PeaZip is probably better for you.

This is a good alternative to the 7Zip GUI frontend. 7Zip for Linux only has the command line and library-based access, and users need a separate front end. FileRoller is currently the best available archive browser for GTK/GNOME based environments.

It uses the same engine and compression of 7zip, so if you care more about that than the GUI, this is the best.
