Raycast for iOS adds AI Extensions and external MCP servers

Raycast for iOS now lets users connect AI Extensions and custom MCP servers, making it possible to interact with built-in and external services directly from the mobile app. Users can also connect sources like Apple Health, Calendar, and Reminders, then use Raycast AI in chat to ask questions or trigger actions based on that data, with support for both local tools and custom MCP servers.

The update also introduces a redesigned AI Composer for working with connected tools on mobile. Raycast’s share extension has been consolidated as well, adding support for image and file sharing, plus actions like Ask AI and Send to AI Chat for sending content from other iOS apps into Raycast’s AI features. Raycast Notes can now be attached to AI conversations, while image attachments in AI Chat support annotations.

Notes also gain automatic sorting for completed tasks, new formatting controls, and easier pinning options, while Dictation can retry failed transcriptions more often in AI Chat, Notes, and AI Commands. The Calculator tool can also now query weather and location data from both calculator and main search.
