Rocky Linux security repository offers faster urgent vulnerability fixes

Rocky Linux has launched a new Security Repository, enabling administrators to apply urgent security patches before upstream providers release fixes for critical vulnerabilities.

The repository is opt-in and disabled by default to maintain upstream compatibility, only activating in emergency scenarios.

Packages from the repository are designed to be temporary and will be replaced by official upstream updates when available.
