Rocky Linux 10.2 brings post-quantum cryptography and flatpak defaults

Rocky Linux 10.2 introduces major post-quantum cryptography enhancements, including ML-KEM hybrid key exchange as the only supported option in the FUTURE policy and new PQC-enabled services.

By default, Firefox and Thunderbird are now delivered via Flatpak with automatic installation during graphical setups, although RPMs remain available.

Podman adopts Sequoia-PGP for image signature verification, offering post-quantum signature support and automatic database migration.
