Gamma 3.0 shifts from presentation tool to visual storytelling platform with AI agents

Gamma 3.0 update has been launched with a strong focus on expanding from an AI presentation maker tool into a full visual storytelling platform, led by the introduction of Gamma Agent. This new AI agent can handle large-scale edits with a single prompt, synthesize notes and screenshots, research topics online, pull citations, integrate links, and adapt slides to a brand or theme. It can also detect information better suited for visuals and restructure slides for clearer communication.

To highlight these new features, Gamma is giving all paying subscribers unlimited access to Gamma Agent throughout September. The release also adds a Gamma API that connects with tools like Zapier and Make.com, automating presentation creation from sources such as Zoom transcripts, CRM data, or lesson plans, with translation into more than 60 languages. Developers can also embed Gamma’s AI-powered tools into their own apps.

Other updates include new layouts, themes, and Smart Diagrams that transform written ideas into visuals without manual formatting. Teams gain tools for brand consistency, centralized billing, and real-time collaboration, while Gamma Ultra offers advanced AI image models, Studio Mode for cinematic effects, and support for longer presentations.
