Craft 3.1.6 adds navigation redesign, email integration, search upgrades and more

Craft’s 3.1.6 update introduces a redesigned navigation system with a customizable top widget on iPhone and a new centralized “Me” section that consolidates all user settings in one place. This addresses previous usability issues and simplifies access to configuration options.

Search has been improved for faster performance and now works uniformly across All Docs, Starred, Shared with Me, Tasks, and Calendar on Mac and iPad. A new hover feature on the yellow results badge allows users to jump directly to specific sections within documents.

The release also adds an “Email to Craft” integration for turning emails into documents, notes, or tasks with deadlines. Android users gain early access to a new Mobile Web App with full editing capabilities. Other updates include support for wide-page layouts in published documents and updated folder icons using the Collections icon set.
