Craft improves task management and makes it faster, more consistent, and more powerful
Craft’s latest update delivers a major overhaul to task management by introducing a unified “All tasks” view that displays every task across your documents in one comprehensive list. This gives users a complete overview of their scheduled and unscheduled work without switching between documents. Building on this, users can now switch between four tailored task views: Inbox, Today, Upcoming, and All Tasks. Each offers its own options for sorting, grouping, and filtering, while important documents can be pinned for quick access.
To streamline bulk actions, Craft now supports multi-select, allowing users to select multiple tasks by dragging on Mac or swiping on iPhone and iPad. Once selected, tasks can be rescheduled, assigned deadlines, or marked complete simultaneously using the context menu or an on-screen toolbar. Following these changes, the New Task window opens instantly as an overlay, letting users add new tasks rapidly without disrupting their workflow.
Further enhancements include improved Apple Reminders integration, so events due today and in the future now appear next to Craft tasks in all views. Today’s view supports manual sorting, enabling users to prioritize tasks via drag-and-drop, with these adjustments mirrored in both the calendar tab and Daily Note. In addition, completed tasks now show on their actual completion date in both locations.
