Salesforce and Slack announce price hikes following expansion of AI integrations
Salesforce will increase prices by an average of 6% across key products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and select Industry Clouds. The change applies to Enterprise and Unlimited plans, taking effect August 17, 2025 for renewals, and immediately for new customers. Renewals before that date can postpone the higher rates for about a year.
Slack Business+ plan will rise to $15 per user/month (annually) and $18 (monthly), while the Pro plan remains unchanged. A new Enterprise+ tier with custom pricing targets larger organizations. Slack is also adding AI features across all plans, including thread summaries, huddle notes, AI Search, Recaps, Translations, workflow generation, and file summaries. All tiers, including free, gain Salesforce Channels integration with Customer 360 Apps.
Salesforce is also expanding its AI offering with Agentforce, a platform for building custom AI agents to support productivity through "digital labor." Add-ons start at $125 per user/month, while the Agentforce 1 Edition at $550 includes Flex Credits and Data Services Credits.
