Builder.io has launched Visual Editor 3.0, a major update that integrates prompt-based app generation, design precision, and code development into a single interface. This version features a Figma-like UI but goes beyond static design, allowing users to create interactive applications using natural language prompts, using your codebase and design system to stay on brand. It also lets you turn Figma designs into code and import UI from any webpage.

Visual Editor 3.0 uses AI to generate designs that follow brand guidelines, keeping colors, typography, and components consistent. Developers can integrate it into their stack with a CLI that maps designs to existing components.

It supports two workflows: a develop workflow focused on collaborative UI generation and integration, and a publish workflow that enables instant updates and A/B testing through CMS capabilities and APIs.
