LookAway launches version 1.11 with new Automations, Focus Filters and more

LookAway 1.11 introduces Automations, allowing users to trigger AppleScripts or Apple Shortcuts at the start or end of breaks for tasks like pausing Spotify or updating Slack status. The update adds macOS Focus Filters integration, enabling automatic pausing during Focus Modes. It also detects screen recording or sharing to prevent interruptions, though this feature is in beta and doesn’t support QuickTime Player recordings.

Other enhancements include security and workflow improvements, such as the ability to auto-lock the screen during breaks and an "End Break" button for early exits from longer breaks. Users can also disable screen dimming for wellness reminders, making them less intrusive.

The update improves video playback detection speed, fixes a bug affecting app refocus after breaks, and redesigns the break countdown interface for better clarity.
