Mistral's Le Chat AI assistant is now available on mobile with pro features & faster speed

Mistral has launched a mobile version of its AI assistant, Le Chat, now available on iOS and Android, expanding its accessibility beyond the web.

Le Chat features fast inference engines capable of processing up to 1,000 words per second, surpassing ChatGPT-4o in certain scenarios. It offers advanced functionalities such as document analysis, project tracking, coding tools, and personalized recommendations. Mistral claims superior image generation abilities using Flux Ultra from Black Forest Labs, compared to ChatGPT or Grok. Additional features include real-time news updates, market research tools, meeting summarization, an opt-in "Memories" feature and multilingual support, enhancing its overall utility and versatility.

Le Chat is positioned as a competitor to ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, offering a new Pro tier subscription at $14.99 per month (€14.99 in Europe), which includes access to Mistral’s top-performing AI model and other perks. Pro users can choose to opt out of data sharing under Mistral’s "pay-or-consent" model.
