OpenAI launches yet another annual recap for ChatGPT, inspired by Spotify Wrapped
If you’ve been eager to see what other Spotify Wrapped style copycat would show up next, you’re in luck, because OpenAI just rolled out “Your Year with ChatGPT.” It’s a yearly recap that summarizes how you used ChatGPT, highlighting themes, usage patterns, and examples across work tasks, creative projects, and everyday questions.
The recap also includes usage based “awards,” plus a generated poem and an image based on your main topics. It is rolling out to individual Free, Plus, and Pro users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
To access it, you need to meet a minimum activity threshold and have both “reference saved memories” and “reference chat history” enabled. Team, Enterprise, and Education accounts are excluded, it will not open automatically from the home screen, and you can also trigger it by asking for “Your Year with ChatGPT” on web or iOS and Android.
