Brave Search adds real-time blockchain data résults with on-chain Ethereum address lookup

Brave Search has introduced on-chain capabilities, enhancing its search engine with real-time blockchain data. This new feature allows users to look up Ethereum addresses, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains, and Solana accounts, providing a comprehensive view of token balances while maintaining privacy.

Unlike traditional search engines and blockchain explorers that rely on third-party indexers, which can cause delays and inconsistencies, Brave Search ensures real-time accuracy by directly accessing live data. This approach guarantees that users receive the most current information available at the time of their query.

In addition to real-time data, Brave Search emphasizes privacy by not profiling users or retaining IP addresses. This prevents the aggregation and analysis of address lookup patterns, safeguarding user anonymity.

The on-chain address lookup feature is now available to all Brave Search users globally, supporting EVM and Solana accounts, as well as ENS domains for easier access to human-readable names. This update is accessible regardless of the web browser being used.
