Microsoft says Copilot+ features are coming to Intel and AMD's latest chips in November
Microsoft has announced an expansion of its Copilot+ PC portfolio with the introduction of new silicon technology: the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series and Intel Core Ultra 200V series. This move highlights Microsoft's dedication to innovation, aiming to provide customers with advanced AI experiences, enhanced performance, extended battery life, seamless connectivity, improved security, and personalized productivity.
The company plans to continue its innovation streak, introducing new AI features, devices, and platforms designed to empower users. Some features, such as live captions with translation, Windows Studio Effects, Cocreator in Paint, and enhanced Photos with Restyle image and Image Creator, may first be available to the Windows Insider Community before broader release on Copilot+ PCs.
Starting in November, eligible AMD- and Intel-powered devices will begin receiving these new AI experiences through free Windows updates.
