Microsoft Loop 2.0 debuts with a revamped UI, improved meeting notes integration, and more
Microsoft Loop has introduced its most recent major 2.0 update, featuring significant improvements, including a revamped user interface with a cleaner and simpler look. The new 2.0 version is currently rolling out and will soon be available to all users.
Among the new UI changes we have a new navigation menu on the left side of the interface provides quick access to meeting notes, favorites, recent items, and other essential features. A prominent Create button at the top left allows users to create workspaces or draft ideas from anywhere within the app, eliminating the need to return to the home page. Enhanced workspace management features enable users to add Loop Components, pages, or ideas directly from the breadcrumb at the top of the workspace.
The update also organizes all Collaborative Meeting Notes from Microsoft Teams under a dedicated Meeting Notes tab for better access and organization. Users can now create pre-read notes or agenda items for upcoming meetings, improving preparation. The Favorites and Recent tabs on the left navigation bar offer easy access to favorite and recent workspaces, as well as the most recent Loop pages and components across Microsoft 365 Copilot, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook.com, Microsoft OneNote, and Whiteboard.
