Mojeek is now available in the list of preselected search engines for the Waterfox browser

Mojeek, an independent and privacy-focused web search engine, has been officially added to the list of preselected search engines in the Waterfox web browser. Waterfox, a Firefox-based browser known for its speed and privacy features, distinguishes itself by not being based on Chromium and its Blink engine.

With the release of Waterfox G6.0.13 in April 2024, users can now easily select Mojeek from the default search options list. Previously, users could manually set Mojeek as their default search engine, but it now comes integrated within the browser's preselected choices.

Mojeek highlighted the synergy between the two platforms in their announcement, stating that the combination of Waterfox and Mojeek offers enhanced privacy and extensive customization options for users.
