Substack introduces new video clipper, AI chatbot, and enhanced tools for content creators

Substack has introduced new tools and features to simplify content creation for its users. A standout addition is the video clipper tool, which enables creators to upload videos, select clips either automatically or manually via transcript selection, and customize them with captions and different orientations. These clips can be shared on platforms like TikTok, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to attract new audiences and increase subscriber growth.

Substack has also integrated transcription and caption generation tools into videos, in addition to those previously integrated for podcasts. Additionally, a new AI chatbot trained on extensive platform resources is now available to provide immediate assistance on technical queries and growth strategies. This bot is accessible directly from the creator's dashboard, with an option to connect with human support if necessary.

Further enhancements include the introduction of image generation within the editor, using Stable Diffusion technology to create visuals based on user prompts and styles. Mobile user experience has been improved with text-to-speech features, allowing posts to be listened to via automated voiceovers. For more details on these new features and improvements, you can check the official announcement here.
