Asana unveils AI Teammates to optimize team collaboration and project management

Asana has announced a significant update with the introduction of Asana AI — a suite of AI teammates designed to enhance team collaboration and project management. Currently in beta, these AI teammates can surface insights across teams, projects, and work, helping to identify risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improved focus.

The AI teammates can manage and execute workflows without requiring any coding, handling tasks such as initial request reviews, asking qualifying questions, ensuring all necessary information is gathered, conducting research, and drafting content. They adapt to organizational workflows, identifying and recommending improvements for broken or inefficient processes to keep work on track.
