Brave Ads Manager launches globally, simplifying privacy-centric ad campaigns management
Brave has introduced the Brave Ads Manager for Brave Ads, a platform designed to simplify the purchase, management, and reporting of privacy-centric ad campaigns. Previously in a limited beta phase, the platform is now globally accessible.
Brave Ads is designed to create a bridge between users and advertisers by allowing users to customize their preferences for privacy-respecting ads. Users can control the timing, location, and frequency of their ad interactions, creating a personalized advertising experience. In 2023, Brave Ads also expanded its capabilities by integrating ad placements on Brave Search, their independent search engine.
The Brave Ads Manager also provides options to buy Notification and Newsfeed ad placements, integrating with Brave News to provide advertisers with multiple outreach methods. However, for New Tab Takeovers and Search keyword ads, direct interaction with Brave's ad sales team is necessary. The ad model of Brave prioritizes transparency and user control, eschewing trackers or cookies for a secure, privacy-focused advertising environment.
I don't know about others, but personally, I don't want to see PERIOD. And, I damn sure don't want to interact with them. I don't care whether they are supposedly "secure and privacy focused" or not. Apparently, the uBlock Origin devs understand this better than the Brave devs.
Obviously, I was referring to ads.

Yes, I can empathize with you. Also, it's conforting to know that other users want and/or don't mind the ads as long as they are gaining a few bucks. This way Brave has a revenue source and can keep working on its great browser.
