FigJam introduces Custom Color Palettes for enhanced team collaboration

FigJam has launched Custom Color Palettes, enabling users on Organization or Enterprise plans to create and edit color palettes for team or project files. This feature allows for a palette of up to nine colors, which can either be set as the default for new team files or used in existing ones. However, draft files are not compatible with custom color palettes.

Creating a palette involves selecting a tool (Marker, Sticky, or Shape), clicking on the current color palette, naming a new one, and choosing colors with the eyedropper tool or hex code. FigJam may adjust colors on stickies and highlights for better legibility and accessibility.

A custom palette can be set as the default from the team settings page. This process involves selecting the team in the file browser's right sidebar, accessing team settings via the down arrow icon, navigating to 'View team’s FigJam palettes' in the Shared section, and setting the preferred palette as default. While the default palette will apply to new files automatically, existing ones require manual palette swapping. Click here to check it out for yourself!
