Adobe has launched its AI-powered Firefly feature set in the public version of Adobe Express
Adobe has finally launched its AI-powered feature set, Adobe Firefly, in the public version of Adobe Express, in an effort to compete with Microsoft Designer and Canva, along with their latest updates that also integrate advanced AI Art & Writing Generation features. Previously trialed in a limited beta version, the features from Adobe Firefly are now accessible to all Adobe Express users for them to try out.
Adobe Express allows users to access royalty-free Adobe Stock assets and fonts, supports PDFs, and includes a unified editor for creating assets for various outputs, such as social media posts. It also offers in-depth workflows with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, enabling access, editing, and deployment of creative assets from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator within Express. The generative AI features are useful for tasks like text prompts for creative adjustments, background removal, color tweaking, image and text effects, format conversion, PDF editing, GIF conversion, and character animation from audio, although it has limitations in creating faces and complex scenes. Express features a large collection of assets, including nearly 200 million video and design templates, Adobe Stock images, fonts, icons, backgrounds, and shapes, that you can easily and quickly use in your designs. Real-time co-editing is also available, facilitating easy editing, reviewing, and commenting for you and your team.
Adobe Express is available in free and premium versions, with the premium version priced at $9.99 per month, offering advanced features like unlimited PDF Quick Actions, access to Adobe Stock assets, brand kits, post scheduling, libraries, and more. Check out the full release announcement here.
