Microsoft Store has started rolling out AI-generated review summaries in the US
As we reported some time ago, Microsoft Store is introducing AI-generated review summaries to Windows Insiders in the US. This feature is designed to condense user reviews and help users make informed decisions about app downloads.
The AI Hub for the Microsoft Store, which is currently available to Dev Channel Insiders in the US, was also recently introduced, and is part of Microsoft's broader strategy to integrate artificial intelligence into its products and services, like the introduction of Copilot into the Windows 11 OS.
Users often rely on app reviews before downloading, but sifting through many reviews can be tedious, so this new AI-generated summaries help users quickly grasp an app's performance and user experiences, eliminating the need for excessive scrolling. Rudy Huyn, the Lead Architect of the Microsoft Store, announced the availability of this preview feature to all US Insiders, highlighting Microsoft's dedication to enhancing user experiences through AI.
