Microsoft to integrate Microsoft Copilot assistant into OneNote in November

Announced back in April, Microsoft as now revealed its roadmap with plans to integrate its Microsoft Copilot (Windows & 365) assistant into Microsoft OneNote, with a launch date set for November.

Within OneNote, the Copilot feature will be situated in the home ribbon section, appearing as a side pane on the app's right-hand side. It has the ability to summarize pages, note sections, or selected text, and can create to-do lists from notes. It can also generate plans for events and meetings and act as a chatbot to answer queries.

So far Copilot has launched across Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps, with plans to expand it to the consumer version of Microsoft 365 in the future, with OneNote and OneDrive among the first to receive the integration.
