Duolingo expands learning suite with music course for beginners on iOS app

As we reported a month ago, Duolingo has now introduced a music learning course to its iOS app, offering lessons in reading musical notes, understanding rhythm, and playing basic songs on a virtual piano keyboard (which resembles what we can see in other alternatives like Simply Piano.).

The course employs interactive, gamified instruction techniques, similar to Duolingo's language courses, and is designed for beginners with no prior music experience, removing the need for memorizing musical notes and keys.

The course is free, with an ad-free version available for Super Duolingo premium subscribers. This move into music education follows Duolingo's previous expansion into math education with Duolingo Math, promoting user engagement with both language and non-language courses within the app.
