Duolingo will expand its learning suite with Music and Math lessons pretty soon
Duolingo, the language learning app, has announced the upcoming launch of Duolingo Music, a possible alternative to services like Simply Piano. This new product is part of a broader "multi-subject experience" that combines Duolingo Math, Duolingo Music, and the original language-learning app into one.
The company plans to provide a detailed presentation of Duolingo Music at its Duocon conference on October 11. The app will offer bite-sized lessons and interactive exercises to enhance users' musical abilities. Features will include piano keys and drums, music sessions, songs, and music unit reviews.
Duolingo Music will offer hundreds of lessons and over 200 familiar songs, using Duolingo's gamified learning approach. The company's foray into music and math education is a response to the demand for accessible education at a more affordable price, as well as the need to expand its gamified learning methodology into more areas beyond language, and become a multi-subject experience.
