Users will soon be able to uninstall more built-in Windows 10 apps

Though Windows 10 has received many updates, it has not allowed most pre-installed apps to be removed. That is starting to change with the latest preview build of the operating system.

Build 18262 of Windows 10 is adding the ability to uninstall 10 pre-installed apps for the first time. Previously, the following 7 built-in apps were the only ones that could be uninstalled:

The 10 apps that will now support uninstallation are the following:

Users will be able to uninstall these apps through both Settings and through the context menu on the All Apps list of the Small Windows 10 iconWindows 10 Start menu.
