Upvoted a comment on UrukyIt doesn't get in your way, minimalistic, no AI, relatively transparent (as far as a business can be), lots of european, independent search indexes to choose from, hosted on EU servers, EU payment providers, etc... lots of customization options, accept cash and crypto, has most features that a modern search engine is expected to have (bangs, domain boosting/exclusions, AI slop labeling, URL rewrites, etc..)

GOG is a great alternative for PC gamers to Steam and Epic, thanks to its no-DRM policy and Linux gamers are their natural audience IMO.

Upvoted a comment on WebLibreI discovered the WebLibre browser a few months ago and was very pleased with its performance. I recommend everyone install it. It has many options for security and privacy settings and a beautiful interface. It is definitely a fork that stands out from all the others I have tested, and I hope the project is successful. Congratulations!

Best Firefox fork!!
- Added No registration required as a feature to WebLibre
- Reviewed WebLibre★★★★★
Probably the most customizable firefox fork out if the box. Setting a custom search/autocomplete engine and privacy defaults is offered right from the start. Smallweb browsing option is a breath of fresh air, too.
Only cons I can think of are occasional stutters (as the app is non-stable release?), and steep learning curve for some customizations

No email/account needed but only customer id (or even own search url).
Enabling result favicons was fortunately possible, a must for me. Other permanent search customizations were decent too, I suggest to check.
I see that the results might deter some people, but that is the cost of wanting to use smaller European indices like EUSP or even Marginalia. I found them good enough. There is the option to prioritize the traditional indices more.
