I miss a fullscreen mode and the setting of the font (only font size seems possible).

Everything else is great, like Table of contents, tabs, preview or split view, themes and so on.

Good, but not perfect. What I miss is a full screen mode and a Table of Contents.

What I like is, that you can set the font, fontsize, position of linebreak and much more.

I bought a license a long time ago, and I still use this HTML editor from time to time, although I prefer Bluefish.

Anyway, CoffeeCup HTML Editor is easy to use, and you can customize it to suit your needs.

Unfortunately, only available for Windows.

TypeBreeze has almost everything I need and could wish for: themes, Markdown formatting in a WYSIWYG way, saving locally as Markdown file, exporting as HTML or PDF, themes (light, dark, midnight, system), different fonts, font size adjustable, statistics (words, characters, lines), typewriter mode and such.

What I miss is a fullscreen mode/distraction free mode, and being able to choose any of my installed fonts instead of only some system fonts.

Tinta is very small and does not need an installation, because the downloaded executable file runs out of the box.

The preferences include some (light and dark) themes and some useful other options like setting the text width. F11 fortunately works for full-screen view (which is not always the case with free software). And you can export as HTML, PDF or DOCX.

Too bad: I could not find a way to set the font family or font size. But the text is scalable at least.

But I have to say: This is a...

Cronopete promises to backup personal files, and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

But why did it need to reformat my USB stick, formatted as exFAT, instead of simply writing files onto it? Cronopete reformatted it as ext4, and error messages appeared.

A dreadful programme, I have to say.

KBackup is easy to use, but I miss scheduled incremental backups.

Unfortunately, purchase is only possible via credit card, not PayPal or whatever. Too bad!

I can’t get this thing up and running correctly. Weak documentation.

I don’t understand it. No download link on the website, no information how to self-host, only a login/sign-in button. No, I don’t want to register. Forget it.

Commentics is easy to install (if you read the documents). If the website where you want to run it is in a subdirectory, the configuration might be a bit tricky, but in the end I finished the setup within an acceptable amount of time.

Commentics looks fine and has a nice editor, so that users can mark up their comments and use smileys etc.
