Sharing age in accordance with all past, present and future laws in the world? Easy, just give us few weeks!
Sharing the clipboard? Oof! We may get something to show in 2 to 10 years...
Google may have won when it comes to extensions, but they have lost at preventing adblocking. Brave 's built in adblock, adblock-rs, has been integrated by Waterfox and added to Mozilla Firefox but requires enabling in about:config
Native browser adblocking is more capable than extension adblocking. Choose the browser you use carefully
Two great Firefox forks: → LibreWolf comes with uBlockOrigin by default. → Zen browser for power users, e.g., users who migrate from Vivaldi browser.
Finally... the era of switching to proper browsers may start.
It annoys me so much because the reason we want ad blockers is that they have abused us with so many gods damned ads.
Bad businesses started the adblocking war with numerous aggressive popups, moving, noisemaking ads, and stalker-ish tracking in the 90s. When we took control of what entered our private networks with sensible adblocking tools (ublock, pi-holes), users were demonized as "picking the pockets" of advertisers and "killing the free internet". LOL. The internet functioned just fine before it was heavily commercialized in the mid/late 90s. (To quote a famous elf, "I was there")....if it reverted...
Liked LockedIn YT, Diskaroo, PrintScreen.ly, AltStore and 4 moreWell done to the Vivaldi team for sticking to their principles. With this new version I think it's time I try it out again.
Still no AI and never will be in Vivaldi. AI features in a browser is not more than a hype. It may be usefull for some users, but for others not. Apart of privacy and other concerns, IMHO it dont make much sense to include an stock AI in the browser, due to the existing thousends of AIs, specific for any type of tasks, in the market. So it's way more logical that every user, if he want, can select an AI app (as extension, bookmark, Web Panel, desktop, etc) which is really usefull for him.

They are taking away what is, or was "wrong" to let what is "right" to take its place for what was "wrong" could do what is "right" can not.

16 websites were shut down. It was a move from the Brazilian government. Part of the reason for this is Brazil long had political ties to Japan so anime is popular there. Why now though, who knows if this was the true intent or if it is meant as distraction or just sucking up to Japan to get something from them.
