    Zooniverse is described as 'The Zooniverse is home to the internet's largest, most popular and most successful citizen science projects. Our current projects are here but plenty more are on the way' and is an website in the Education & Reference category. There are eight alternatives to Zooniverse, not only websites but also apps for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux and Android. The best alternative is Foldit, which is free.
