Zamilist is a bilingual (English and French) web app for building and sharing everyday lists. Its core feature is grocery list sorting: paste a whole list, including one copied from a text message, and the items are grouped automatically by store aisle or department, such as produce, dairy, bakery and meat. Departments can be rearranged to match a specific store, and items are checked off while shopping.
Lists are shared through a web link so family members can add and check off items, and they sync across devices. Besides groceries, Zamilist offers reusable checklists for travel, camping, events and household tasks, plus gift wishlists with product links and prices, where friends can reserve gifts without the list owner seeing who reserved what.
It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no installation. The free version includes unlimited lists, sharing and wishlists, while the paid Plus plan adds unlimited recipe imports, the full history of frequently used items and other shopping shortcuts.
