What is Yres?

Yres is a data warehouse automation platform for Microsoft Azure, developed by Plainwater in the Netherlands.

You don't write pipelines; you add metadata. Configure a source, pick the tables and the load type, and Yres generates the Azure Data Factory pipelines, the staging and history tables and the load schedule. Every load is logged and monitored, and any table can be rolled back to a point in time.

What it does

  • Loads sources incrementally with full history (SCD2) into an Azure SQL data warehouse
  • Own connectors for AFAS and Exact Online, the most common Dutch ERPs, plus SAP (via SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere and Business Data Cloud), Salesforce, Business Central, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, files on SFTP/SharePoint and more
  • Optional Parquet change feed to your data lake for Fabric or Databricks
  • Monitoring, load status, retention and health checks built in

How it runs Everything runs inside the customer's own Azure subscription: the data factory, the database, the metadata and the keys. Plainwater never holds your data. If you stop the subscription, you receive a licence key and the installation keeps running.
