What is Yggdrasil?
A proof-of-concept IPv6 meshnet, featuring end-to-end encryption, a unique spanning tree routing algorithm and aiming to implement novel backpressure routing metrics. It is lightweight, self-arranging and should scale well beyond the limits of existing mesh networks.
Comments and Reviews
It's almost a plug and play network but it's also configurable, works out of the box with IPv6 capable software and is based on techniques that all future networks should adopt as a minimum.
It's an interesting experiment with the concept of mesh networking.
