This is by far the best free calender app I came across. It is encrypted on the cloud. It's awesome
Not cheap for multi-user (what's the point of online calendars/contacts if you can't share editing) at minimum 400 CHF/year with 10GB of strage. That's fine if it's for a big group. Doesn't help much for small business (5 users).
Still searching for simple shared contacts which are not US based and seem privacy focused. Fruux isn't it (CardDav doesn't sync since 2020), NextCloud isn't it (always a headache, unreliable).
Another trash which fools users about "magic Switsland privacy". Which absolute myth and fake and not actual for 2019.
If you're reading this message: google for Switzerland and EU scandal and other problems related to privacy and different acts what USA / EU / Switzerland applied, and can share ANY data of any citizen directly with the USA without even asking, I mean just read and you will understand, that positioning on myths not a good thing. Swissland good country, but not so good like it was before, and their privacy much weaker than in many other countries if you do not have enough money.
Offers securely hosted (in Switzerland) Nextcloud for files, calendar, contacts and notes for free (1GB) + paid plans. Great alternative to Google Calendar/Contacts/Keep and to some extent Drive (if you get a paid plan). Data is encrypted (they can't access your unencrypted files or your password so make sure to keep your password safe!). Also supports TOTP 2FA.
