What is WeLocale?
WeLocale is an AI-powered website translation tool. Add one JS snippet, or install the WordPress plugin, and your site is available in 50+ languages: no code changes, no DNS setup, no proxy in front of your site, and no duplicate pages in your CMS. Visitors switch language with one click, every string is editable by hand in the dashboard, and hreflang tags are added on Pro and Scale for multilingual SEO. Translations are stored in your account, they stay yours if you cancel, and re-translating a page you have already edited does not spend your allowance again.
Pricing starts at $15/month for 10 languages and 120,000 translated words, and goes up to $69/month for 50 languages and 2,000,000 translated words. There is a 14-day free trial with 3 languages and no card required. It is a trial, not a permanent free tier.
What it does not do, so you can rule it out quickly: it does not translate URL slugs, it does not give each language different content, and the largest plan tops out at 400,000 source words. For translated slugs, WPML or Polylang fit better.
