What is TranslateRocket?

TranslateRocket makes a WordPress site multilingual, and every feature is free: no paid tier, no cap on languages, no per-word billing, and nothing switched off to push you towards an upgrade.

It needs no API key at all. Chrome and Edge carry a translator that runs on your own computer, and TranslateRocket can drive it: pick your languages, press one button, and the whole site is translated without an account and without the text ever leaving your machine. You can also translate by hand on the live page, free with Google Translate, or with your own DeepL, OpenAI, Gemini or Claude key — the routes mix freely and every translation is kept.

Switching from another plugin? One click imports what you already have from TranslatePress, Polylang, WPML, Weglot, qTranslate, WPGlobus, WP Multilang, Bogo, Multilanguage and Loco Translate, plus CSV and TMX — read straight from the database or the files, so it still works after the other plugin is gone.

Each language gets its own clean URL prefix with translated slugs, hreflang tags and a multilingual sitemap. Translations live in your own database and can be edited by hand at any time. WooCommerce, page builders and theme strings are covered too.
