What is Webhooker?

Webhooker is a hosted gateway for inbound webhooks. Providers such as Stripe, GitHub and Shopify, or any other HTTP source, send events to a single ingest URL. Webhooker verifies the signature, stores the event and immediately responds with 200 OK, then delivers it to one or more destinations.

Signature verification includes presets for Stripe, GitHub and Shopify as well as generic HMAC (SHA256/SHA1), Basic Auth and API key checks. Requests with invalid signatures are rejected with 401 and kept for audit.

Failed deliveries are retried automatically with a circuit breaker, and events that still fail are moved to a dead letter queue. Any event can be replayed individually or in bulk. Each delivery attempt is logged with status code, response body and latency.

Other features include a live tail of incoming events, payload transformations, rate limiting, per-source metrics and alerts.

All ingest, storage and delivery run on servers in Germany, and payloads do not leave the EU. A free plan is available.
