AnyHook is a hosted webhook relay. You replace the webhook URL at a provider such as Stripe, Shopify, GitHub or Twilio with an AnyHook URL. AnyHook stores the event, answers the provider in about a second and forwards the event to your server.

An event from a test Shopify app in the AnyHook log. It was delivered on attempt 5 with an HTTP 200, and the page shows the payload, the response and a Replay button.

What is AnyHook?

AnyHook is a hosted webhook relay. You replace the webhook URL at a provider such as Stripe, Shopify, GitHub or Twilio with an AnyHook URL. AnyHook stores the event, answers the provider in about a second and forwards the event to your server. If your server is down or too slow, AnyHook retries on a schedule, and you can replay events from the log. It can check provider signatures on arrival and re-signs each delivery. Delivery is at least once, so your handler should deduplicate.

It is meant for two problems: a handler that calls an LLM and takes longer than the provider will wait, and a server that stays down longer than the provider keeps retrying. In a test on a Shopify development store with the server down for just under six hours, Shopify stopped after 9 attempts over 4 hours. In the same test, the orders still waiting in AnyHook arrived on its fifth attempt, 21 hours 35 minutes after each order.

The free plan needs no card and includes 10,000 events a month (1,000 a day), one app, 3 delivery attempts over 35 minutes and 3 days of replay. Pro is $20 a month for 50,000 events, 5 attempts over 21 hours 35 minutes, 30 days of replay and metered overage. Scale is $90 a month for 250,000 events, 10 attempts over 5 days 21 hours and 90 days of replay. AnyHook waits up to 60 seconds for your server on the free plan, 120 on Pro and 300 on Scale.

An open source MCP server (npx -y anyhook-mcp) lets AI agents create endpoints, inspect events and replay them. Compared with Hookdeck, AnyHook has no built-in payload transformations or routing rules, and its team tools are lighter.

AnyHook is not a general tunnel. For webhooks, npx -y anyhook-mcp listen forwards events to your laptop.
