Rather than install apache webdav and deal with a hugely complicated configuration process, just install this and modify the yaml config. Then you can use a self signed certificate generator test the TLS. Maybe even get a free certificate authority to secure it. Far easier compared to the alternatives and lightweight compared to other remote file solutions. Webdav servers also work better for big video files compared to ftp and are easier to setup than cloud storage, with the same core features.
