i been using this program for years and it works a whole lot better than windows movie maker. the best part is that its free and does not take a lot of space on the computer. it can place the image anywhere i want and it has many things to help make it better. i would highly recommend this to many people.

A competent video editor that should be a reasonable fit for the intermediate user. Though the interface is a bit different and takes some getting used to. Should be quite capable of handling most editing tasks. If you need more and would prefer to stick with a free option, consider DaVinci Resolve.

VSCD is a very good video editing tool (free) compared to market products like DaVinci Resolve (free version) or Filmorama 9 (free version).

The creation of text, shape, adding effect is impressive and completely flexible as desired.

Having used it in several video montages, its use is quick to take in hand. The interface is very well oriented and we quickly find these benchmarks.

What is VSDC Free Video Editor?

VSDC Free Video Editor allows you to add quick changes to a video file as well as create a more complex project involving advanced post-production techniques.

In other words, you can cut, crop, rotate, split and merge video files if you just need a quick adjustment. You can also add and edit audio, create text titles and subtitles, include images and graphic objects to the scene. There is a set of video effects, video styles, filters, and transitions. As a part of more advanced-level editing, you can apply color correction and color gradient, use effects like "picture-in-picture", "text masking", Chroma Key, split screen and much more.

The main advantage of the software is its ability to process all the video formats and codecs including the rare H.265/HEVC. At the export level, it allows for keeping the highest quality of the video, adjusting framerate, resolution, video size, and other parameters. There are alos pre-configured export profiles for social media networks (Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, Facebook) and a direct upload to YouTube.

VSDC comes with a screen recorder, voice over, and a video capturing tool on board.
