What is VoiceScroll?
VoiceScroll is a teleprompter app for iPhone and iPad that uses on-device speech recognition to scroll the script in time with the speaker's voice. The scroll follows the presenter's natural pace and pauses when they stop speaking.
Features include real-time word highlighting, camera recording with a draggable picture-in-picture preview, and export of time-synced .srt subtitle files. Speech recognition runs entirely on-device, so scripts and audio are not uploaded anywhere. The app supports 22 languages with automatic language detection, and works in portrait and landscape with adjustable text size.
The free version supports scripts up to 300 characters. A one-time Pro purchase removes the limit; there is no subscription.
