Open Prompter

Open Prompter is a teleprompter for iPhone and iPad that reads plain markdown (.md) files from a folder you choose: iCloud Drive, an Obsidian vault, Dropbox or Files. Edit the script anywhere and the prompter updates, with no pasting or importing.

Voice tracking follows the words you actually say, using on-device speech recognition, and holds the scroll after about 1.5 seconds of silence so you can re-read a line. It records you with the front camera while you read, mirrors the text horizontally or vertically for beam-splitter rigs, and works with Bluetooth remotes. Tap MARK during a take to drop a marker where you flubbed a line.
