What is Virtual Cables?
Virtual Cables creates multiple virtual playback and recording devices on Windows. Audio sent to a Virtual Cable speaker is buffered and made available through the matching Virtual Cable microphone.
Features:
- Create and remove virtual audio cables
- Matching speaker and microphone for each cable
- Up to 32 configurable virtual cables
- 48 kHz stereo, 16-bit audio
- Automatic synchronization with Windows Sound settings
- One administrator confirmation when starting the USB/IP background component
- Uses the Microsoft USB Audio class driver for the virtual audio endpoints
- No command-line windows during normal operation
All configured cables will appear in Windows Sound settings and can be selected by compatible audio, recording, communication, and streaming applications.
Virtual Cables currently supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 on x64 systems.
