So easy to integrate into your website with private access settings
I signed up for Vimeo just to watch a video a colleague shared. They force you to give them your email address even to watch a video so they can continue to spam you for eternity. I unsubscribed two times and they keep sending garbage emails.
Not good for local news.
I sometimes use it, but it can't achieve YouTube. I can't understand why people have to pay for uploading their videos into the cloud storage knowing that they can make a profit from it. Even they have in FAQ the answer to this question.... but I can't find the answer. LoL
I like to think its a good alternative to YouTube but they seemed focused on businesses.
To upload commercial videos onto Vimeo I was forced to get onto the Pro plan ($240/yearly). This is not obvious on their pricing page. They enticed me in with the free plan, and then forced me to upgrade after I invested so much time uploading my videos, or risk having all these videos deleted!
It's very likely that you can't upload so much information for free. Somebody has to pay for it.

Good site. They could really compete with YouTube if they got rid of the free limits.
