What is VideoCull?

VideoCull is a free, open-source Windows application for reviewing and sorting large local video collections.

Instead of opening videos one by one, VideoCull samples multiple frames from each file and displays them as thumbnail strips so you can see what each video contains at a glance. A keyboard-driven review workflow lets you quickly mark videos as Keep, Delete or Skip, while uncertain clips can still be played or scrubbed directly in the app.

It is designed for folders containing hundreds or thousands of videos, including camera footage, phone videos, downloads and older video archives.

VideoCull also includes filtering and sorting, ratings, favorites, bookmarks, batch operations, and exact and visually similar duplicate detection.

Processing, metadata and caches remain local. VideoCull does not require an account or cloud upload and is licensed under AGPL-3.0.
