Vibes DJ

Vibes is a desktop library manager for DJs, built for macOS and Windows. Instead of managing folders and playlists, you tag tracks by vibe, energy, mood and era, then filter and combine those tags to find the right track for a moment.

Tagging is fast. Vibe Sort is a keyboard-driven, one-track-at-a-time workflow, and an on-device model learns from your own tagging and suggests vibes for new tracks. Everything runs locally, so your library and the model stay on your machine. Combinations automatically surfaces tracks that share multiple vibes, for example everything tagged both House and Peak Time.

Set Designer is a visual canvas for building sets. You place tracks, connect them into a flow, and a recommendation engine suggests the next track by BPM direction, harmonic key and shared vibes, with an optional audio-similarity match. Find Compatible turns any track into a one-click filter of its harmonic Camelot keys and mixable BPM range.

Every track is analyzed on import: BPM and key detection, a 3-band waveform, a beat grid, an energy curve, and auto-detected cue points (intro, buildup, drop, breakdown, outro).

Import from Rekordbox (XML and the Rekordbox 6/7 database), Serato, Traktor, Engine DJ, or plain folders. Exports are written directly into the target app's database (Rekordbox master.db, Engine DJ m.db) rather than through fragile exchange files, with Traktor NML and Serato crate export alongside. Ratings, cue points and vibe tags carry across.

Vibes works offline and needs no account. It is a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial. A companion Chrome extension, Vibes Companion, captures tracks found on Beatport, Bandcamp, SoundCloud and YouTube into your library.
